A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. I couldn't stand it !!!

    Well, I caved !!!

I opened the rest of the boxes this morning.... They were all standing there with tears in their eyes. Saying they had been ignored. So, what else could a nice guy like me do?? Hadda put 'em outta their misery... Right??

So the best is yet to come... I thought the QHMC was nice, but there is a nicer one!! Both Winchesters are spring tube ( you guessed that from the serial numbers, didn't you??). One of them is PRIMO !! The other is just pretty darn good.... The Inland is a late one. Pretty much what you'd expect. The others fall somewhere in between....

I know, I know...... I'm working on the photos.... Gimme a break!! Thinking about that Carbine Shoot and Chili Fest this summer has really been on my mind on this snowy, icy day in Prarie Dog Town.

    Red face

Where's your self discipline Ronnie? You could have had 6 Christmas days in a row, and you opened all your presents at once? For shame!

On the other hand, I for one, can't wait for full descriptions and pics!

See, I told you that you should have given me one as a Christmas present... I would have held it for you to open on a later date - I promise I would have...
