A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. No direct input, but for a long time, Boyds had a very poor reputation for M1903 military stocks. Maybe they've cleaned up their act.

DuPage Trading bought a new '03 patten stock for Boyd's use. It is a pre-war pattern and is great. Buy one right now!

You may want to check out this site and give mike Kokolus a call.

Michael M. Kokolus Custom Gun Stock Duplicating

Although the site is specific to stock duplicating he had an exhibit at the last Allentown show of about a 100 ready to go stocks of all types.

    Regards,

    Jim
