Smokeless Powder out of oa cordite Rifle

Im hoping to take my Speed Lee out to test it tomorrow. I had it looked at at a couple of places, they both told me it should be good to fire and also good to fire smokless powder .303 rounds despite it does say Cordite Only on the receiver, if anyone knows better please let me know, Im considering holding it out stretched looking away and letting the round loose but would appreciate better insight. Thanks.
