    - - - Local forecast is calling for another 10 to 20" by Wednsday night - My skinney butt is getting tired of sitting on my JD Tractor in 15 degree weather!!

It took me 6 years to finish my last bottle of "Booker's" but I got a new bottle today. I may have to "crack" the top on the new one Wednsday night.

Mike, I'm going out and plug in my Cat loader. We've got some snow comeing down today. Nothing like you guy's are getting but I like to keep ahead. Hang in there, spring is right around the corner. (HOPEING)

Thepriapus, I think when your well equipped it's easier living in the country. We don't have to deppened on government to plow us out. You're lucky to have that big 4x4 to get you around.

You guy's take care, stay warm, take your time and be safe, and we will all get through this.....Frank

I'm a fed so I have been off the last couple of days (possible more if the snow continues). I have been using that 4x4 to transport dialysis patients to various appointments.

Impossible or Pointless for me to attempt anything today Seven (7)ft drift against my Shop door and tractor is inside. Winds 25-35 MPH with about 18" of new snowfall. Thats a total of Fifty (50) inchs in six days!!

A couple of Pic's from my kitchen door. There's a Deck under the snow in the foreground. I HAD it cleaned off yesterday!!

Mike, WOW, that's snow. You got to hate the blowing snow, seems like you get something moved and when you come back around it's back! That stuff also gets heavey on the roof.

priapus, "She thinks my tracktor's sexy" is one of my favorites!! Heck anything country is!!

Best of luck to you guys getting through this.....Frank

    New Snowstorm

I live in Northern VA near DC, but the wife & I are currently on an extended stay (til March, or longer if the weather's not good up there) on the Gulf Coast of Texas. Long story short, we talked to our daughter in VA an hour ago & she said that the Governor of MD said that the weather's so bad he's ordered the snowplows off the roads because it's too dangerous! And here I
was grumbling because we're having rain tomorrow. Guess we're pretty lucky, by comparison.

Harrisburg PA received 18" over the weekend and today we have over 16" more with high winds and drifting. My back yard, after plowing out a run for the dog, looks like Mt Everest. Only the main streets have been plowed and the secondaries are terrible.

Md Governor did order that and I believe it was a good decision. I-83 between Balto. & York Pa. is Closed!. I-70 between Balto. and Frederick is Closed!! Sections of I-80 are CLOSED!

Snowplow Crews are wore out, equipment busted up and as of now, 6:15 PM the wind is still running about 30+ MPH.

As 'Pattern14" said..York & Harrisburg, Pa. have been hammered!! I live within 100Ft of the Mason-Dixon Line within about two miles of Littlestown, Pa. It's really..really bad here.

Forecast is the storm currently over Texas tomorrow may produce more snow for Md. & Pa. early next week! - OH GOODY!!

    More pictures tomorrow!!
