It is strange, because 7.62x39 Wolf is much better![/QUOTE]
My Tantal [5.45x39] has no problem with surplus ammo. But they are easy to clean. I guess they are made to digest the dirty, nasty Russian ammo.
Good luck Rustship!

I've shot Wolf in 30 carbine, 7.62x39 and 223. In 30 carbine the accuracy was awful and it was very dirty. The 7.62x39 and 223, on the other hand, were very accurate in the AKs (both Saigas restored to pistol grip), and not as dirty. I think it is a matter of the little carbine not liking the powder load they use in it. In those two calibers, however, Barnaul Russian ammo is more accurate than Wolf.

Russian firearms are not like ours
they have chrome lined barrels and chambers, loose clearances, and BB gun sights. They work ALL the time. I have had a shooting contest with an EX US Infantryman, a close friend. The target was a single sheet of typewriter paper at 100 yards off hand. He had his Chinese AK I had my AR. I hit all 5 on the paper, he hit none. Their ammunition suits their weapon; spray and pray. Wolf Ammunition will undoubtedly go off everytime, but that doesn't mean it is worth shooting.
