I have a April 1943 Springfield that I am working on putting back to correct. (I used all the post war parts as donor items to a shooter Garandicon built on a sandblasted/reparked receiver with very light pitting on the receiver legs.) My question concerns heat lots on bolts. As long as the bolt is a -12SA bolt what relevance does the heat lot play, if any? Or am I thinking too much.

Thanks,
MontaukTrl
