    S'G' Rear Sight Question?

    Guys,

I've owned this early S'G' carbine since 1989. I just had it out and noticed the following:

    1) Odd color across the pin on both rt and lt side of the sight.
    2) "L" flip looks like its be reparked at on time in the past. Base and Spring look normal.
    What do I have?

    Thanks for your insight.

The nicks are the same color as the sight, so repark could be possible.

Maybe the pin was removed to replace a bad spring. But it doesn't look like it was used enough to have needed that. Maybe so it could be reparked. Maybe so it could be stamped. Hard to say. If you weren't the one to do it, you can't be sure.

How about some more pictures of that IP?
