Milsurp NOOB from south central PA

    Hey nice forum here folks!

For me it all started with an M1icon Garand which i've always wanted. Got a Springfield. Recently decided I better get an M1 Carbine as they are getting harder to find. So I drove 5 hours (one way) in the snow to the CMPicon north store (remember I got it bad) to get 1 nice carbine. Ended up coming home with 2 service grades and IBM and Winchester cause I couldn't make up my mind.

Last year I shot a friends FR 8 and enjoyed that. Don't have the funds for that right now, thanks to my problem at the north store, so I've been looking around for something interesting and less expensive. Found an M44 for $50 that needed a few parts but the guy traded it out from under me. Next day I came across a nice Lee Enfield No4 Mk1 for $100. It needs a front and rear handguards and rings. Plan on picking it up tomorrow if things work out.

Hey where can I go here and see a list of forum sponsors?
