    Vol VI Bavarian Prison Guard

    Winchester 1092183
I apologize in advance for the number of photos here. I promise I'm not trying to hog the bandwidth... But to record this carbine for my records, and if anyone is interested, to show them what this one is like... It's a little different than the previous examples.
    Couple of interesting things....
Serial number on the wood matches the receiver number
A burn mark on the forearm??
Four digits of SN electropenciled on top of bolt
    Underwood front sight
Looks like a Std. Prod. buttplate
Sear mark is nearly unreadable, but looks like a Quality Hardware
There is a very light "8" on the left trigger arm.
It's the best of the set. I'm really proud of this one... You will soon see.

    Ronnie

It also had some service time in Austriaicon. Hence, the LGK mark under the trigger.

That one is nearly museum quality. I guess you have your safe queen out of the bunch. I like the wood color, strong grain, and the bullnose handguard. Just let me know when you want to get rid of it - I will give you half-price for it!

We really should plan on doing a Texas carbine shoot-out and chili cook off this summer... but you got to agree to bring all your "friends'!!!!
