    Welcome ELLIS,
I noticed this one on Ebay the other day.
It's getting pricey as they usually do.
Here's a link and some opinions about it.....

Welcome Ellis.... If you are just looking for an inexpensive repro stock, you may want to look at Northridge or Numrich. They both have their copies running for under $200 and the general reports are that those repros are at least decent and workable. I would not use an authenic stock if you are planning on dragging it to the range... Stay away from Cheaper than Dirt - the word is their is cheap wood, cheaply made and over priced.

    Just my two cents worth...

Something seems to have happened at CTD over the last few years. They used to be the local "go-to" folks.
Anyone have any ideas or answers?

Also replaced leather piece and rivits. It might be just me, but that OI stamp looks horrible.

Seems a bit pricey for what it is. No bids yet.

So much $$ for repro M1A1s.
    I'd consider a regular M1icon stock.
There still out there without fake markings.

What serial range do you have?

I bought a Walnut high wood repro stock on GB two or three years ago, His name was Walter something or other from New Jersey. I'm glad I picked it up when I did. I had chuckindenver deepen and sharpen the cheek pad recess for me. Found a guy on gunbroker a couple of months ago who replaces the leather and installs the 7/4 brake rivets, parks the metal. Here it is, placed on my restored Inland 267xxx

    LE,
It looks nice, also nice seeing you pop back in now and then.
Like many others we had lost you to the 'Black Rifles' for a while.
    Are you Eagle98 on GB?
If so...I can see you bought items from Walt back on 8-1-07.
I remember him having some real nice folding stocks back then, plus the price was nice.
Bet he wished he had more of them now.
He has a lot of parts but usually only lists what he has time for.
A guy can E-mail him with requests for parts and he'll look thru his bins for them. Will even contact you back later if he comes upon a part he knows your looking for. Much like Eddy Yuja...hard to beat.
I can't remember Walts last name, want to say Johnson.
He's in the Air Force and often gets shipped to another state for short periods of time. That's why you'll see some negative feedback about his shipping at times.

Great guy, he describes as they are.
He's worth keeping an eye on. He pops up with good parts normally selling for less than most sellers on GB.
Remember he use to have his own web site, but it's closed now.
    He sells as m1carbineparts.net

I see a fellow member ShadyCon just bought a Inland housing from him recently, maybe he can remember his last name.
    I do believe it's Johnson.

I see Walt has a Rock Ola Type 2 Trigger housing up right now that could be bought for $74.95 + ship.
It ends Saturday night 2-27-10 at 9:55:37 PM ET
    Here's a link to it.....

    Error

I DON'T KNOW WHY 'ERROR' IS POPPING UP....BUT CLICKING ON IT WILL TAKE YOU TO THAT RMC HOUSING AUCTION.
