    Bren Mount

I have a Bren and am looking for a tir-pod mount or something like it. I have seen these mounts where the gun is held fore and aft and also just fore.Anyone know where to find one? Thanks BB

Sounds like your after the Bren Tripod Mk1. It is a ground role tripod with T & E gear, and then it can also be used as a AA tripod (The forward mount) if turned over, using the 3rd leg as a stanchon to raise the hight, and a 2 part leg (stored in the triangular tubes of the tripod) becomes the new 3rd leg. (Or a SMLE rifle if leg is missing).

The Mk2 was a ground role tripod only with no AA facility.
