    Congrats Tanker...Looking forward to pictures.

Funnily enough I was at the big show here in Calgary, Alberta today and there were three Johnsons for sale, ranging from "as is" for $1800 Canadianicon, through $3300 and I didn't catch the price on the third one. I don't think I've seen three Johnsons, period, prior to today. They were all there at the end of the day, so will likely be there for any Canadian seekers tomorrow for day two, I'm sure.

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. For the record this is not a moneymaker, I hope just to break even, eventually, at $80/book plus shipping. In the USA shipping is $5.00 for media mail. I will accept PayPal, Zelle, MO and good old checks (and cash if you want to stop by for a tour!). CLICK BANNER to send me a PM for International pricing and shipping. My new Johnson

Many thanks to all who replied. Here is a link to pictures of my new Johnson.

It's in even better condition than the pictures show. Just wish it had the original front sight. I did find a bayonet lug for it, but no bayonet or front sight yet. I would also like some old military wood for it. The wood on it now is really nice, but too shiney to look "military". The blueing job I'll have to live with. I have the facilities to parkerize it, but that darned blueing on the thing is almost perfect and beautiful. Anyone who has any Johnson parts please email me:

I saw a Johnson for sale Saturday at the Vallejo, Ca Gunshow. Stan had it on his table.
