    Type "I"

    At gun show today, a 6.5mm jap rifle type "I". Absolutely no markings except a serial nummber. Supposed to be made by Italyicon for the japs un late WWII. Any info on this. $375.00.

    Yup, I bought a bunch of guns at an estate sale and had a devil of a time id ing the same gun, there is lots about on the internet-made in Italy for the japanese Navy. About 1/4 of the maybe 20,000 guns (although that number is speculative) were made by Beretta, so check for a PB on the safety, or look it up on the internet, the Beretta guns are worth a bit more it seems. Dont know on the price, they dont seem to be worth alot despite their rarity.
