    A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered.  Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle.     If you look at the bid history, it was an obvious fat finger entry. I seem to remember that CMPicon has had that exact problem before. Brian at CMP Auction posted that they are taking the site down next week to do some major updating....

    And its not the "I" cut... that was the carbine that Omar Bradley gave to Custer before the little big horn....

    did anyone notice it comes with a IBM barrel? all my books say thats not right
    as for the bid history, i still wanted to post it for a few laughs

    CMPicon's system has been off it's rocker. For some reason, it adds a zero here and there.....it must be posessed. I won a couple of auction bids, and something similar happened to me. Brian Vick quickly and kindly remedied the glaring errors without hassle. Glad they are shutting down to fix this glitch.
