    7.7 Arisaka reloading experience

Anyone with any pet reloads for the T99 Arisakaicon? I've read a few on-line outside the forum, but wondered if anyone in the community who has loaded found any one particular combination consistently accurate.

I have .311 sized 174 grain fmj's and brand new norma brass that I'm neck sizing only.

I've reloaded and shot a lot excellent results with IMR 4064 powder with my pet Swissicon 7.5 x 55 K31 loads with 168 gr sierras under 42 gr. Between 3 of them they average about 1" to 1.5" at 100yrs with their excellent triggers.

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. For the record this is not a moneymaker, I hope just to break even, eventually, at $80/book plus shipping. In the USA shipping is $5.00 for media mail. Try 180grs. S&B VMSBT.311 with 43.2grs VV N140, primer CCI 200, OAL 81,0mm. Should give groups from 50mm. But use no higher loads this load is close to the maximum. Load datas without any guarantee. The shooters magazine "VISIER" in Germanyicon tested loads with the same bullet and 44.0grs. N140 and wrote that it was the maximum without any sign of to high chamber pressure.( Speed:737m/s, Pressure: 3291bar)

    Regards
