If you can't view the advertisement, it's probably due to the fact that you have to subscribe to the EE (Equipment Exchange) forums on CGN in order to view them, or the ad has been deleted.

    Seller says:

FS: LE Smle No1 MkI (no stars)

She's all matching, origianal but has been done up as a grenage launcher rifle by the Aussies. Bore is worn, but shiny and very shootable. I will post pics later tonight. ( one of these in it's original state went for $10,000.00 on Gunbroker a few years back)

Price including shipping and insurance: Was - $1250.00, $950 OBO, Now $850.00

Someone make me an offer, or I guess I'll have to strip her down and sell her for parts!!!
    Regards,
    Badger

I'm waiting to see the pics of this one. I'm skeptical about the "no *'s."

I know he has come across some nice stuff in the past, but I also want to see the markings and compare against this "all correct" one on the MKLicon.

    1903 (possibly 1902) ShtLE (Short Lee-Enfield) Mk1 Rifle

He threatens to part it out if no one buys it.
Is it even possible to take that rifle apart without unwrapping ruining the wire?
