    91-30 scope question

    79$ units were numbers matching 1942 and a 43 Russians. nice bores, lined up front sights, came w/bayonets, and slings etc
    Thanx guys for the info on how to pick one out of the pile.
    We are looking for recommendations for good solid scope mounts, what works good for you, what was not so good.

    I was told by a fellow that installed one that the rail mounts that you install on the rear sight by removing the rear sight and then using the sight pivot hole as the new connection point worked well. These mounts then use two screws, one on each side of the scope pivot hole to tighten the mount up. Requires no drilling or altering and the original sight can be reinstalled when the scope mount is removed.
