    OT a vent about Ebay..arrrg

so im going to whine a bit..
Ebay,,what a bunch of ninnys..they suspend me for 14 days for weapons policy violations...ok..
well i admit, some of my past auctions may have violated Ebays rules, but once they were on to me, i started to just follow the rules, i get it...
no triggers, barrels, bolts, hammers or any part of the fire control..
after a warning, i started to just list those things on GB....i dont agree with it, but its a game, wanna play the game? play by the rules..ok.
so i list a pile of Colt SA parts,,heres the list,
    3 cyl, bushings,
    1 ejector housing
    2 hands with springs
    2 main springs,
    2 cyl stops,
    a couple unkown,,,
    but all Ebay legal...
the so called and i quoate {GUN EXPERTS} saw a trigger, lol, really???
thats what the moron i was talking to on the phone said.
so, i tell him the little thing that hangs on my wall that says GUNSMITH trumps the experts they have,
and i go over my list compared to the Colt parts list i have..
says i doesnt have the power to lift the suspension, but will foward my case back to the GUN EXPERTS lol..and will get back with me with 72 hours via email..
so while im at it, i tell him pretty much what i think about Ebays policy,a nd how they are loosing out on all that money, of a policy...NOT A LAW. a policy.
and that i can buy porn, drug parafanalia and wisky making stils and other illegal products on ebay, but not legal gunparts,, only do to a anti gun policy...
    not a law..
then he tries to agrue the BS facts he has on his screen, so i say..dude, write down what you just said, and think about it...then get back with me,
its all i could do to keep from blowing up, and calling that guy a dumbass.
    oh well.
i learned sometimes, its best to keep my mouth shut, and move on...
    heres what i dont get..
iv been buying and selling on Ebay since 1997 when they were still new,.Ebay started in 95.
and have a 100% rating on my feedback, i used to do well over 7 grand a month, and now down to about 2500 do to the gunparts policy, and ebay motors fee change,
and now it will be even less.
Ebay lost over 9 million dollars last year do to this, and other policy changes.
feedback, fee,s and other silly rules they make up..
why on earth would any company suspend, or punish a good customer? had they emailed me, and asked...i would have told them..
no wonder our countries bus, are in a downward spin, seems they cant see past the nose to look foward the face...
    ok...
i feel better, had to vent ,,ill get off my soap box now...
i know,,some will not use Ebay, do to the anti gun BS,,,but find me another place were i can sell a motorcycle i paid 200.00 for, and get 1500.00 and ill jump in a heart beat.

Chuck, it is all about the BUYERS. Yet the sellers contribute more money to them than the buyers. Sellers pay a lot more in fees. As a seller you seem to have no rights. Yet with out the sellers you would have no buyers. Ebay has not figured this out. But I agree with you on the 200 motorcycle. Where else can you find such a large group of buyers. And some of them have more money than sense which I just love.

    Chuck,

Yet they have no problem with people sellin' boatloads of knives, swords and bayonets by the ton. Guess they think they are savin' the world by not havin' evil gun parts on the site. Probably contributed money towards electing BO Satan president.

Maybe they saw that photo of you on here and figured ya' gotta' be a no good outlaw with them whiskers and tatoos.

    Death to idiots,

Being in the UKicon, we have a lot more rules, knives are bad, anything listed in that catogory or the mention of knives will be removed, or the buyer has to prove their age, ok to buy bayonets, swords etc, but knives are a big no no, see my post in the Bayonet section, its at the top.
I missed out on a rare make of 1907 bayonet, blood still boils when i think of it.

Reason no longer prevails within our society.

We make asinine laws, regulatory statutes, and town councils made up of recent move-ins zone 100 year old businesses out of existence. My local idiots want to sacrifice local businesses for the tourist trade. Mind you, I live in Burgaw, NC which means "Stinking Water" in some obscure Indian language. Tourists?

The Supreme Court rules cities can seize homes and property via eminent domain and then give that land to developers who operate for profit. My state regulatory agency rep walked into my office and told me I must clean up all rain water that hits my business property before it runs off same (over 100 inches of rain per year). I explain that would cost more that our gross annual income. His response? "That's your problem". My employee leaves a hose off the plant pad to allow it to drain (water) and the same guy fines me $14, 764.00 US. I have to dig up all the soil from the "spill" and drum it for hazardous waste disposal even though all soil tests indicated zero contaminants. Why? EPA policy.

I pay money to a fund so my employees can collect unemployment, but I cannot collect unemployment myself because I am a contract employee. I pay half my employees SS tax, but I pay 100% of mine (7.5% vs 15.2%).

I could go on and on, but its useless.

If you are looking for reason in today's society, you are looking in the wrong place.

    Jim

Does that have to do with water rights or something?Seems petty to me.
