    Straightened trigger guard

I am working on a sporter that needs a straightened trigger guard. It looks pretty straight forward to cut and weld one to make it straight. Is it? Before I modify one, Does someone have an extra they don't need?
The existing setup is with an internal magazine, a triggerloop from a guard and the forward bolt is in a bushing.

    Thanks.

I can't quite follow you on the "existing setup" part, but modifying a 1917 triggerguard involves more trouble than it's worth. You will probably have to make a jig to hold the parts in the correct position while welding. The magazine box will have to be shortened also.

I have a "straightened" triggerguard for a M1917. It came off a "sporterized" rifle I got from a shop,I have returned the rifle to military configuration. If you are interested drop me a line.
