    Help needed !

This stuff is up for Auction here. I have two questions.
What are the 4 bags on the belt for ?
Is it all genuine USGI, WW2 ?
I'm thinking of having a bid, but would like to hear what you guys think first. If it is WW2, it looks pretty NEW to me. Many thanks, Mike.

The three type1 magazine pouches are real.
Have no idea about the four big pouches.
I do not think the belt is ww2, check with Bill Ricca.

    WW2 USMC belt...

...it has 5 snaps to hold those carbine pouches on. Never understood why they were not pistol belt width / thickness. The pouches are also WW2 USMC. I've heard them refered to as personal effects bags and also as demolition bags holding a pre-wired load of the TNT blocks. You never see them at shows , but they are fairly common on Ebay.

The belt was made for those demolition pouches, every thing looks ligit to me. The belts used to be very commen, much more so than the demo. pouches. I used to be able to find 10 belts for every one pouch. I have no idea whats up with them anymore I have not collected in 10 years.
