A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. If you get one, don't shoot it at night. The muzzle flash will blind you.

But it is fun to shoot.

How is the recoil? Is it more like a .45 ACP 1911A1, or 357 Magnum?

To me, a 45 ACP kind of has a gentle roll to it. This has more of a snap. Maybe between a .40 and a 10MM. Takes some practice to get it back on line for follow up shots. But you get used to it.

    Fun to shoot.

Thanks. I have a Magna-Ported 8 3/8" Model 29. Sounds like the recoil of that shooting 180s. I carried a Glock 10mm for awhile as a Deputy. The recoil on it was ridiculous.

    Sorry GK,
We did LEAP off your topic.
I feel the post WWII J marked are well worth $50.
The AI and SEY $75 plus.

I see beater 15rd U marked, that are parked fetch $25+.

Apoligize again for getting off track.

    Cheers,
    Charlie-painter777
