    It's an 1888 Trapdoor. Stock cartouche of 1890. This one was issued to the NY 12th Volunteer Infantry during the Span Am war. May have made it to Cuba. Sling is a repro

    Great looking TD!

    I would suggest taking alot more pics of it, especially any markings and proofs on the metal everywhere. A typical gallery has usually 20 or more pics in it to be considered really complete in my opinion. The rifle looks like a great candidate too
