    Thanks Greg:

I called them up and spoke with Jake. NICE GUY !!Ordered TWO and he talked me into buying a SEALED box which he has but couldn't remember how many.I am typing this from overseas so won't know what he shipped until I get home around the 26th.

He said that he would root through all the onesies and twosies of wierd gun related stuff and send me a list along with the sealed box of Cases Field Service.

He's a serious surplus guy so I turned him on to some friends in the biz back in Toronto.Hopefully they will be able to do some deals together and make a few bucks.

Nice of you to pass on the contact especially when the guy is as straight up as Jake.

    Cheers,

    John

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. For the record this is not a moneymaker, I hope just to break even, eventually, at $80/book plus shipping. In the USA shipping is $5.00 for media mail. I had asked Greg after his post where he had bought his case from. He was kind enough to send a member with one post the information on who had the cases. I ordered some cases and they arrived today. The Case, Gage Field arrived in their original individual 1/1979 contract N.S.N. stenciled cardboard boxes.

If you had ever looked for a reasonable priced original U.S.iconG.I. Case, Gage Field I would not pass this opportunity up. I have seen these cases sell for $75 - $100.

John R. you will not be disappointed in your box of cases.

    Greg, thanks again,

    Ross
