Note that in the first pic his rifle has the standard marks from being crated with nothing between on rifle and the next one's op rod handle. The next one looks smooth.

Same rifle. Look at the scuffs on the op-rod, sight lock bar position and the speckling on the right side of the butt.

The safety is off because the action is fired. Note position of the hammer. The rifle in first and second is the same, look at the mark on the op rod handle. Also the dimples from setting the clips at the base of the butt at the butt plate like Frank said. BUT for all you marines, the sling is assembled incorrectly and that's just not possible for a marine Sgt to allow to pass. Note the loose lower loop.
