A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. I don't know, Mike. I don't see the word "USGI" in the description, & I can't see them well enough to be sure they aren't Sarco Chicom rings. All I know is, all the unissued USGI rings I've seen were in sealed, marked, envelopes, not wrapped in treated paper. With these sold as "no returns", you need a lot of faith.

Neal - I understand your point. The seller doesn't describe his rings as "unissued" and from the pictures they appear legit. That being said if I were in the market I would have asked for additional pictures.Nor would I bid as high as the current price of $277.00+.

BTW I haven't seen you for a couple of years, how ya doing??

Yeah, same thing happened with that A3 that went for nearly $2,000. Only two guys from $1,000 until the end.

As a side note, the winning bidder on that A3 carried through with the deal.
