The brand new fake cartouche is horrible alone -

    Test question:
There are good photos of everything else wrong with this carbine. (As 'ABCLeach' would say, "I show good photos, so you must keep what your get")

Your scores will go on your 'Permanent Record'

I have not been around for a while, but I always thought Sammy was one of the respectable sellers of firearms and parts. I remember watching his auctions on "Auction Arms". Buyers used to flock to Sammy's auctions and the guns always drew nice bidding wars. ScottR, do you have any proof to back up what you are saying?

I watched a few of his auctions over the past couple of years that were outright scams' where he was playing 'dumb' -

Maybe not an real outright scam, But he knows it was wrong.

To many sellers have seen what ABC had gotten away with their scams, and they become greedy too.

Scott, all I have for comparison is Riesch's 5th edition and the picture of the Saginaw cartouche is dark and cloudy. So, yes, if you don't mind, email the real SG cartouche to me at: pianoman1953@hotmail.com

    Thanks!

It's not just the stock that is wrong. Yup at one time he was know as an honest sell but now he has joined the dark side of the force. A few years ago he was suddenly coming up with a lot of IP hand guards and that was when the rumors started to come out. Time has proven the rumors right.

I know nothing of this seller. This comment is aimed at no one in particular - just an observation...

In my short time in the carbine community, the one thing I have seen that is stronger than an addiction to carbines is an addiction to the money from selling carbines...

    Hello Mike,
I was buying some very nice stocks back years ago from Sammy and his 2 partners when they sold on Ebay.
Got on close enough terms where they'd offer up items to me before being listed.
    Then things dried up...........
Later started seeing some questionables listed in with legit items.
    Decided to stay away.

The SG stamp if a poor repro.

Makes me also question the CC on this Stan Pro they are offering right now.........
