    Anyone have a 1917 stock?

    Hey everyone!

I'm new to these forums; I found them in my search of parts. I picked up my dream gun awhile back, a 1917 Enfield. My dad already has a sporterized one (A Winchester), but I needed a original for my WW1 US combat uniform. So, when we got 2 more '17s that were both sporterized; one only with a different stock; I was able to get my Remington. (The other is a Eddystone! So, we got all 3 now! LOL! )

Anyways, I'll shut up now. Does anyone have a uncut '17 stock? Preferbly a Remington one, but I can live with any; as long as its not sporterized. All I got now is a aftermarket one, and that wouldn't look right next to the uniform, LOL!

    Thanks!

I purchased a stock from SARCO. It was a Remington, but like you I would have settled for any. It was in good condition, had the usual dings and dents but nothing serious. They might pick one for you, give them a shout. Hope this helps.

I made contact with the first one today, thanks anyways! He's in Germanyicon, and it all adds up abit out of my price range.

That Eddystone though, I might just spring on that, thanks!

The stocks do show up at the big gunshows. Start hitting the road and ask everyone you meet. Good luck.

I actually haven't seen them in my area much. And since I'm so busy, I can't keep watching all the major ones. (

    Hey guys,

Do any of you have the handguards, and the barrel bands? I got a stock on the way, but I just need those parts now. I got a match I plan on shooting it in 2 weeks away, so time is starting to run out. I "thought" I still had a full month to get it all, but I was wrong, again, LOL!
