    7mm Chilean Mauser

What can you guys tell me about Chileanicon 7mm Mausers showing up at my box store sporting goods place (Gander Mountain)? They're asking like $250-$300 depending on condition. The guns look pretty good, but I don't know about the price or availability of ammo. Any ideas?

I just bought one for $129 at a local gun shop that has matching numbers, great bore but dinged and dirty stock.

The Sportsman's Guide is selling them for $399 in probably the same condition as I just got.

I believe that I've just been extremely lucky the past few days getting this and a RC K98icon for $200 within a few days of each other.

From what I've seen the Gander Mountain price is probably not bad if they are in good condition. Maybe a little high.

Ammo at the local shop ran from $29 to $34 a box depending on what you were after. I expect there is some cheaper places out there but in any case, is probably something you would want to start reloading. The Sportsman's guide is selling it for about $26 a box, less if you are a member. Federal makes it. Did not see listings for Remington on their site.
