    Rock Ola slide question

    Hi- this is my first post. I've been reading here though. Lots of good info and good guys.

    I have this carbine slide. Does this look legit?

    Well , both Ruth's book and Reisch book reference Slides with Rock-Ola X as valid slides. The Rock -Ola X should be on the outside bottom, which this one seems to be. This one seems to have a line thru the X , not sure what that means. According to Reisch. Rock Ola X slides were type 2 only. So check the rear view of the slide and see if it is a circular cut on the right side only (near the hole for the Op slide spring guide. If you have a type 3 or 4 slide with Rock Ola X, I would be suspect. BUt I am not an expert in this area.
