Question Value for MLE carbine mag

    Hey guys.

Have this mag that I was hoping to use in my Lee Metford seeing as no 10 shot one has surfaced I thought this one would do. Turns out the staple is too high, and the lips I am not sure if they will work in a non carbine Lee.

What is a fair market value for this?

I would think it is more rare than a Metford but I am not ed'cated in this field, just restoring an heirloom by the seat of my pants.

    Here's some pics:

    Whatcha think?

I'll keep you posted bigduke. Promised it to one guy already but I have not heard back from him yet. I might offer to trade with someone for a Metford or Long Lee hand guard depending on how things turn out.

There is forum member " Surpmil" who is looking for a mag give him a try, am sure he has the one you want, so maybe you could do a swap.

I paid CAD$35 for one around TEN years ago.My LEC-1 Carbine didn't need one but 'ya never know'. Still have it and wouldn't part with it.I wouldn't think that the market has gone DOWN either so the magazine is undoubtedly worth MORE nowadays ! JR

Just the answer I was looking for! Thanks a bunch John. Looks like I will be trading a member here for a Metford hand guard and then I hope to just solder a staple on the mag I already have. The prices this stuff command is too rich for my blood. Especially when so many in the stash need help!

    Cheers,
    Noel
