    Are you from Jersey?

Now everyone remember's Joe Piscopo's "Are you from Jersey?" bit from SNL years ago. We also know that carbines are not allowed to be privately owned in New Jersey.... but...

WWII M1icon Carbine, Quality Hardware Excellent! : Semi-auto at GunBroker.com

I just had to laugh when I saw this from a "Jersey" gunshop... You can't buy them, you can't sell them, but you sure can Gunbroker them!

As as Joe would say... " I'm from Jersey, are you you from Jersey?"

I used to live in NJ and got out in 1986. The state sucks. If you are a father and decide to teach your son how to shoot by firing a BB gun in the basement of your house, you can be jailed for operating a firearm inside the town and giving access to a minor.

The state is nuts, the courts system is nuts and most of the State Police in the Firearms Division in Trenton are nuts. I wish one day the entire state would go to hell.

I COULD NOT AGREE MORE! I used to live in NJ, born there, BUT, when I joined the USAF, and ended up in Arizona, I never looked back I assure you. The weather is not so great, but there violation of second amendment rights is inexcusable. I remember in '81 when I had to produce a firearms ID card to purchase a BB Gun!. When I first arrived in AZ, you could purchase a SIG handgun in the supermarket (Smith's) for godness sake, and that is not an exageration! OTHER THAN THE PIZZA, which is excellent, I could care less what happens in that State.

Ok, here's an idea... Let's auction off New Jersey to a foreign country to help pay for the National Debt and the new Healthcare handouts... We could do the auction on Gunbroker - maybe add a few fake cartouches like everyone else does!!!! Maybe France will take it - or do you think the Jersey accent is so thick that even the Frenchicon couldn't understand it???

So Bill, tell us how you really feel about NJ! It sounds worse than the Peoples Republik of Kalifornia or Kook Kounty, Illinois!

Here in The Republic of K

They are trying to ban lead shot and make people register long guns. I emailed my Senator and Assemblyman yesterday, pointing out that the state is broke and already has the most repressive gun laws in the country. I pointed out that we are the laughingstock of the country, criminals do not follow laws and that these stupid laws only make felons out of honest people. I suggested maybe spending some of their time on getting work for the people and maybe getting the illegals out before they successfully complete turning the state into a third world dump. Haven't received a reply.

Talking Some good things do come from NJ.

Couple of years ago , I saw a Sarco ad ( they're in NJ) for a WW2 M9A1 bazooka from an estate of an elderly gentleman who had past. NJ does not allow bazookas any longer either , so it could not be passed on to any of his heirs ( it was grandfathered to him till his death). Sarco bought it and placed the ad. When I called , they had found out that thier paperwork had been kicked back because NJ would not allow them to take possession of it to sell it out of state. They told me the condition of the weapon , and that they had just got off the phone to LMO , brokering it out of NJ. I called LMO and talked to the guy who had just bought it 5 minutes before and snagged it. I can't thank the bozos at NJs helm enough for allowing me this!!!
    Chris

PS. When I finally recieved this from my local dealer , I found the trigger pull to be "squishy" . Upon removing the grips , I found that someone , somewhere , had removed the electrical system from it. Do you have any idea how hard it was to get a new set??? Took me at least 10 minutes of going through my boxes to find a NOS one.
