Fabrica De Armas La Coruna 1947 7.92 Cal PR Help????

    Hello all,

I'm just in desperate need of some advice or knowledge on this particular rifle. I'm interested in possibly sporting out this rifle but can't find any info on the web. There is a ton of info out there but it only leaves me more confused. Is this rifle capable of the high pressure rounds? Is it an M48 style or K98K?? This is such a popular rifle from many different countries and all seem to have slight differences. It just leaves me a little lost. Anyone have more knowledge on this year and model?? Please help.

    Thanks,
    Information

I'm not that familiar with this rifle, but perhaps tiriaq or claven2, both of whom reload, could take a shot at answering your question.

Spanish 8mm rifles are renown for not handling over-pressure loads very well. Is yours a large ring or a small ring?

If it's a large ring, you should be OK if you load to military 7.62 pressures. I would not use hotter commercial loads.
