Your M1911A1 has a commercial slide on it. Does the serial number fall into the Commercial/Military range, as they were an interesting variant ???????

    oldcanuck,
you have sharp eye's. yes it is a commercial/Military i understand their was only about 6600 of them, it has never been messed with and is in perfect cond.. the grip's are not correct but they were on the gun when i got it so i left them on it. it's a 1943.
i don't know if the tool's are correct or not.
I hope i don't get the name wrong, but i think Duane Hansen has a wonderfuf collection of comercial/Military 45's. maybe he will post a pic.?
