Slightly OT but my son is in London

Who's wants to volunteer some secret information and tell my son where to find #3 Bolt heads to smuggle back to the U.S.
Do any of our Britishicon forum members have any suggestions of where he could visit in or outside of London?
I recieved this email from him today. (I can't believe he is in Enfield land)

    Hi Mom and Dad,

I just wanted to let you know that I have arrived safely in London and finally got a chance to send a quick email. We saw lots of stuff so far - Buckingham Palace from outside, we toured Westminster Abbey, saw Big Ben and Trefalger Square. I'm currently at NYU London where Amy studied her senior year. We're about to go out for some drinks in a few minutes with some of her friends that work here.

    Love,
    Greg

Ed, ask him how long he is here. I might be able to give him a few bits and pieces. He can come and visit me/us here at desolate Warminster, on condition that he brings your sense of humopur with him

Your colonial cousin from Englandicon land, Peter

Don't forget Imperial War Museum Duxford it is an aircraft and land warfare section of the Imperial war museum and is just south of Cambridge.
The Tank Museum in Dorset is a good day out but a bugger to get to.
and if he really likes History how about Dover castle easy to get to by train from London but you will need a full day for that one lot's and lot's to see there,But I would say that wouldn't I (used to work there).

I was at Duxford in September of last year, and saw the last flight of the last Britishicon WW1 bomber. They have also recently opened a display regarding the British airborne, and have a lovely display of weapons - I think I left a pool of drool there...

It depends on his interests - perhaps he has other interests besides those of Ed?

Duxford was quite nice, esp. if you're an aviation type. I stayed in Sawston at a little b+b next door to a nice quiet pub when I was doing some P40 Tomahawk work at the Fighter Collection.

ETA: Can't figure out the address of the b+b, but it's right here (light gravel drive leading behind the house- pub is just north at the fork.):

52.112699, 0.172707 (lat, long)- from the Google Earth thing.

    ETA some more:

    52.095423,0.138503

Location of a Beaufighter (Stephen Grey's?) at Duxford when the spy satellite flew over- B17 just WSW and the whole complex is full of "good stuff". The Beaufighter was in pieces when I was there, but they had some great jigs for the rebuild- something US "restorers" didn't seem to utilize!

Ed if your son like trains be sure the gets to York to see the Rail Museum, it is fantastic. Duxford and Hendon were great as well as the Bovington Tank Museum. If he is a "car nut" Tom Wheatcroft has the most amazing museum at the Dovington Park Race track. The museum is full of F1 and other famous race cars. Who knows he may meet Tom in the cafe, I did and have to say the friendliest down to earth person you could ever meet.
Why use a 50 pound bomb when a 500 pound bomb will do?

This would probably be more appropriate:

Thank you all for all your suggestions and help, I forwarded all your info to my sons home email address. He has one of these new super cell phones with internet, GPS and all sorts of other fancy gadgets and he can check his email from his phone.

Besides hitting all the pubs he has managed to visit the Imperial War Museum at Duxford. The young lads main interest is making beer and he is sampling every beer he can find in and around London.
(I don't think I will ever see any #3 bolt heads unless they can be used in making beer)

Just before he left for the U.K. he came home and we planted "hops" so as you can see the Enfield is not his main focus in life.

Hide your beer and lock up your refrigerators, my small stash was depleted during his visit.

You don't know how true your guess is, my son makes his own beer and after leaving London he is going to be sampling Germanicon beer and touring their breweries.
