That email from Berry's conflicts with their web site which clearly says 1950 fps.

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. For the record this is not a moneymaker, I hope just to break even, eventually, at $80/book plus shipping. In the USA shipping is $5.00 for media mail. Here they say NOT to exceed 1950 fps........

    http://www.berrysmfg.com/product-i14...r_RN_.308.aspx

The seller on GB was confident of these working near this range. Said he could barely keep them in stock.

    Beats me.........

I thought I better jump and correct a quote that was posted when a call was made to Angie at our office. 1200fps is correct for our pistol bullets, but the 110gr .308 RN carbine bullets have a lot more plating on them. You can push those bullets to 1950fps. A couple of years back we had a new core die made that produced a smaller core. After plating we run that thick plated bullet through a carbide final size die to get the .308 diameter. Please feel free to ask me any questions, I try to read all the threads that I can but if you can email me to join in I would be more than happy to join the thread.

    Berry's MFG Bullets,

Thank you for adding this information about your 30. cal 308 diameter copper plated bullets.
Many of us have bought these to try out and looking forward to having good luck with them. But as you can see a few questions arose. The questions just happened to come up in two different postings. This one here that you've replied in and the other below.

Luckily a fellow member named emmagee1917 pretty well echoed your reply.
Here's the other you may want to look over also.....

I for one look forward to buying/using more of them.
