Czech M43 Ball From Canada Ammo

Did any other Milsurps members order some of the recent import batch?

I think I got the special "internet moderator" hand pick. My two cases are 37 and 47 years old. As long as it goes bang, I'm happy. Maybe the ancient case won't reek as bad as the 80's stuff I've shot. That's a nasty smell.

Yes, I got a couple cases. Haven't had time to try it yet. May get a couple more cause the way things are going, you may never see milsurp again.

And I believe this shipment was a lot smaller than previous ones. The price coupled with the increasing numbers of VZ's and SKS's in Canadaicon it makes M43 a highly sought after commodity.

Apparently he's got 7.62 Nato in the pipeline (reportedly in about 3 months) and indicated recently that there's a good possibility of M855 5.56x45mm in the near future. Both calibres are needed in my ammo bunker.

I bought another case that I don't need - I mostly shoot handloads, even in the SKS, but occasionally I'll hand my son the SKS and a bunch of ammo and let him have a go of it. I've been in the game long enough to know that milsurp ammo is not available in a steady stream - it's feast and famine. In a month or two we'll have to endure months of threads (on that other forum) bemoaning the lack of milsurp ammo. Once (if) 7.62x54R becomes available again, I'll snatch another case I don't need. Already got my Garandicon, Norwegianicon K98icon, Swedishicon Rolling block, K31icon, etc that are so numerous, recognizing that when they're gone......

I've got a few GI foot lockers of CZ stuff. The stuff shoots great, but, Stevo slightly under estimated the oder issue, but, for the price its a small price to pay-SDH
