Will a US Springfield M1903 bayonet fit an M1 Garand or M1917?

Yep, the M1 bayonet is just a short version of the 03, smart people kept the mounting method the sam ewhen they changed weapons

Pattern 14- For whatever it's worth the bayonets for the Krag, M1903, and M1 are all interchangeable. SKIP

The M1917 is a different bayonet however. It wasn't a Springfield rifle.

Yes, I have a US M1917 (marked 1918) that fits on my Pattern 14 but not on the MI Garand. Thanks to all for the info.
