    Another Lee Enfield No4 MK1*

Took it out for the first time on the range and got reasonable results.

Range is only 75 mts (82yds) but apart from the two flyers I was pleased.
7 Rounds Privi Partisan 174 gr FMJ factory load
    Iron Sights
    Wind 15mph right to left
    Prone (just elbow support)

Looks to be a decent grouping. The No.4 rifle has great sights that make me a better shooter

    Sights ?

I found that the original MK11 & Mk111 sights adjustment too course so I have actually put on No5 Jungle Carbine sights which have half MOA click adjustment. Thats what I was using for this grouping.

JC sights might only go to 800 yds but I'm not shooting at above 200 yds anyway.

поистине, но никак правительства будет совершенно

With regards to the No.4 sights, looks for a mk1 "singer" sight. It's basically a jungle carbine sight but the graduations go well past 800m.

the MkII and the MkIII sights were production expedients and are not as fine adjusting.

    Lee Enfield No4 MK1*

Well spotted but the picture was taken before I changed the sights.

Going to get down to the range to try some reloads :
    125gr Sierra SP
    Privi Partisan once fired brass
    43 & 45 gr H4895
    CCI Primers

Seem to shoot OK at home but the range is a better environment.

Again, someone else that I now have to beat at the range soon. Already had mine out for the first time last month or so. It shot really well, but as it was a competition, I didn't get a chance to do any real sighting in. I've done this twice now for this competition. I don't do it for the trophy, I just like going otu and shooting, and it was an available time for me.
