Gun shows on the West in Aug?

I have a kiwi friend and enfielder visiting Los Angeles and Las Vegas in August, does anyone know if there's a gunshow at Orange County or Ventura that month? And also Las Vegas. I hear there's a big gun show there but I never figured out what it was called or when it was, any tips?
    thanks gents ... R

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. I just got back from the Crossroads of the West show in Reno - not impressed. I only found 4 Enfields (a No.4 Mk.1, a No.5 Mk.1 and 2 bubba'd Mk.IIIs), and no commerical .303 (I could only find 500 rounds of surplus .3030 in the entire place, but it was dated 1949 from Kirkee, India). Someone was selling a worse-for-wear Sten Mk.V for $400, and mosin nagants were way over-priced.

Yep. It just depends on who and what show up on the day lol. Then again, I did have my Enfield blinkers on, so I could have walked past a whole bunch of good stuff without noticing it. Now I think about it, they did have 500 rounds of Wolf .308 for $160 (no idea if that is a good price, but it is $70 cheaper than Cabelas lol).
