Well, that's not quite true ...

The site will handle uploaded JPG pics of 300 kb and that easily handles web viewing of images that are 1280x1024, or so large they'd fill your screen.

I think you're confusing original file size and height x width of pic. My camera takes over 10 megapixel shots which save with each pic being almost 4 megabytes in size ..

Obviously no web site is going to host pics of that size, so all I do is run them through something like the free Microsoft program. This FREE PowerToy enables you to resize one or many image files with a single (right-click) I use the 800x600 or 1024x768 mode for resizing with it and it creates small file sized (yet huge screen pics for viewing) using easy uploads, yet maintains excellent resolution and details for Internet viewing ..... and it's FREE !!!!

How do I upload or post images? (click here)

Microsoft's FREE Image Resizer (click here)

    Hope that helps ...

If you still have problems, then email the full size pics to badger@milsurps.com and I'll re-size them for you and insert them into your post.

    Badger

As far as the New auction with the same scope in it ....The seller informed me that when the scope did not sell the first time he set it up to relaunch at a later date. Mean while I purchased it. He never cancelled the new auction. He was very apologetic.
Even though I gambled and lost(the way things are looking), the scope really does look like a quality piece.

    Well Thanks Guys!
Please dont bust my chops to bad!!

    Thanks
    Scott
No busting if you promise a detailed report! If these folk would just come clean I'd buy two or three just to have something which I could take out to the field and abuse.

Here's a question, how much should one of these repros actually cost? I know this is seriously speculative given no one seems to know who's making them, but a ball park figure would give me some guidance & be very appreciated.

    Cheers!

At War and Piece show at Beltring, I saw them ranging from £440 for scope only to £850 for scope, mounts tin and pads. I went on the first day on the 21st july and saw two of these, one without mount and one with I offered him £1000 for both and after haggeling he agreed. As I didn't have that much cash on I offered £100 as down payment and will get the rest on sunday 25th july whach was also agreed. Only to go back and find the pitch empty and my deposit gone and the scopes. It's a shame cause I would have liked to strip them down and have a look inside to see what type of work had gone into them.

Just as a matter of interest, how did you get a No42 - or a 53 for that matter - into a No32 bracket? The diameter of the 42/53 is much larger
