    Introduction

Hi all, I'm brand new here, and I'm not sure if you guys are into introductions around here(and if you are, where the proper place is for it) but I thought I'd be polite and introduce myself.

I've always been a milsurp sort of guy, but I'm mainly into Lee-Enfields. My great-grandfather was part of the Australianicon Imperial Force during WWI and fought on the Western Front at the very end of the war. He moved to the US after the war and became a competitive shooter in the 20s and 30s. In the only picture I have of him he's proudly shooting an Enfield at a match. I always wanted one of those rifles as a boy. Today I have a small collection of Lee-Enfields, and they make up a good portion of all the rifles I own. My favorite is a 1918 SSA NoIII*

Thanks for this community, and I look forward to participating.

Welcome to the site champ0608! We'll be looking forward to your participation!

There's a huge wealth of info from knowledgeable and friendly members here, and this forum is a great place to make an overall introduction.

You should probably make a similar introduction on the Lee-Enfield Forum.
(I expect you'll be spending a good deal of time there!)
