Recently glommed this 1891 "B" barrel 1891. The pics are the auction site pics. Will post better when it arrives.

I haven't run across a good Finnishicon Mosin in a long time. The write-up on "B" barrel rifles in the one book I have on collecting Mosin Nagants is rather confusing!

    Thanks

I just looked carefully at the barrel shank and I'm pretty sure that it is a "VKT/B" barrel. According to the rarity chart at 7.62net, that is a bit rarer than the "B" barrel.

It is possible that it is a "Liege proofed" VKT/B barrel. The squiggly mark on the far left of the pic almost looks like a Liege proof mark.

I'll need an expert ruling on this one.
