    Stolen Valor Act

Did anyone else see the article where the Stolen Valor Act has been ruled unconstitutional because it violates the right of free speech”? This was the ruling of U.S. District Judge Robert Blackburn in Denver Colorado.

Well, now that THAT ugly thing is out of the road, all the Democrats can stand up and pose as heroes.

The law may have been a slight curb on free speech, but it also was a curb on LIES.

I am just SO tired of 'Viet-Nam vets' who cannot load a Carbine.... or a Garandicon.... or an M-14..... or an M-16.... and who expect me to believe the most atrocious tales of their heroic service. Hell, I saw "Apocalypse Now!", too: far better than "Spittoon" or "Full Mental Jacket".

For the ones who DID serve I have great respect. They earned it.

For the ones who didn't, and say they did, I have great disdain. And they earned that, too.

This Act was a curb on these dweebs.

Of course, it was also a curb on 'heroes' of the John Kerry sort, which likely is why it had to go.

Time for term limits on judicial appointments.
Balckburn was a Bush appointee BTW from 2006..Has a reputation for favoring the defense. Another example of poor homework and lame appointments.

Friend, you don't wanna be where I am, then!

Our judges are appointed politically and for life... and generally on the basis of how many convictions they got for the Government.

As flawed as the US system may be in some respects, at least you have the power to get rid of them without having to wait for the senile old party hacks and bagmen to die off. "The good die young," my Mom used to say, so you know what that means for the ones who aren't good.

Don't ever let your President get as much power as has our Prime Minister. He's trying for it right now, but don't let him get it. Elections coming up!
