Oil bottle

Saw an oil bottle MkIV standard body WWI era but the cap is recessed and a leather pad is fitted on the top end. Anyone ever seen a similar item? Definitely not a US kit for 03 Spgfd.

I'm not sure if this will help or not, but is the oiler you saw anywhere in the types shown on the site below?
