    Questions on Acquiring Enfield Bayonets

Hey everyone, I am currently working on my collection of WWII firearms and completing acquiring the accessories including bayonets for each of my firearms. I have two enfields: a 1921 Lithgowicon No.1 MkIII, and a 1947 Faz No.5 MkI Jungle Carbine, both of which are in very good condition. Where these rifles issued with bayonets from the same manufacturer or will any company with the right type bayonet do? I know the market is flooded with repro enfield bayonets, any tips of spotting a genuine from a repro? Any other information about these bayonets I should know, I'm looking for a No.5 bayonet and a P1907 bayonet? Thanks for your time everyone.

P.S. The Jungle Carbine has a lacquered finish that is light in color, I do not think this is the original finish? What is the correct color and finish of a No.5 Mk1 as issued at the end of WWII.

Goto BAyonet Collection Presentation and you will find examples of both bayonets. There are a lot of Aussie 1920's made 1907's that woudl go with your rifle, although any could have been issued during its life, there is only one amker of Aussie blades although the markigns changed from Lithgowicon to Orange, it is the same place. As for the No5 the Aussies made trial weapons based ont he 07 for it with variaous lenght blades and a large muzzle ring, but these woudl be mega expensive if you could ever find one - I am sure mine are all fakes -- so you woudl mneed a UKicon made one anyway

A feeder factory was set up in Orange. Are you suggesting the MA and OA bayonets come from the same factory? Or Lithgowicon and Orange are the same place?
