Yes very nice. Looks like it would be a fine shooter.

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. For the record this is not a moneymaker, I hope just to break even, eventually, at $80/book plus shipping. In the USA shipping is $5.00 for media mail. I will accept PayPal, Zelle, MO and good old checks (and cash if you want to stop by for a tour!). CLICK BANNER to send me a PM for International pricing and shipping. There is a "restored" M1903A3NM rifle in a gun store here in NJ. It was a drill rifle disposed of by the CMPicon. It had the original receiver holes for the Olympic sight. A base was made by modifying a "Win Mod 52" base, and mounting a correct sight. A NM N.S. bolt, a '03 NM trigger, and a polish of the bolt rails after re-park completed the project.

Tom: I thought all of the 03-A3NM rifles were retained at Rock Island. They were sold off in the DCM sales of the late 1960's. The guys at Rock Island knew exactly what they were doing. Many of the NRA Big Wigs "luckily" drew one. I understand this is what Harlen Carter drew years ago. This is rthe first i've ever heard on a 03-A3NM Drill Rifle.
