    Ordnance Gage Id help?

I purchased these gages in a auction with some other gages and I'm not sure what type of rifle they are for. A guy at the last gun show said he thought they for an Israeli FN FAL. Maybe you could help me ID them (see photos). There are two headspace gages, first one markings has 2666-0009, 7.62 / 39.87, 87/70. the second one has markings of 2666-011, 7.62 / 40.07, 78-193. Both gages have a little Hebrew symbol on them. Next is the firing pin gage marked CAL. 7.62, 2666-1110 and on one end is 1.566 and the other end is 1.334. Last there is the silver gage and on the top line is 7.62 Hebrew marks and 1.31. The next line is 2.30 0013 098 77. The wooden box has the markings 2666-9601 and the rest is in Hebrew I think. Any help with this would be appreciated. Thanks Robert

If the striker protrusion gauge equates to .040" and .050" then it's the gauge for the L1A1. If the CHS gauges equate to 1.6325" and 1.643" then they are CHS gauges for the L1A1 too

The first headspace gage is 39.87 mm which comes out to 1.56968 inches and the second one 40.07 mm = 1.57755 inches. The striker protrusion gage figures out 1.334 = 0.52519 inches and the other end is 1.566 = 0.061653 inches. Thanks for the help. Robert

The gauges are Israeli gauges for the FAL rifle.

There is a Firing Pin Protrusion Gauge
    2 headspace Gauges
    Extractor Gauge.

Thats a very nice complete set.

The front and far right gauges definitely have Hebrew markings, but I don't see any on the box. SARCO or SAMCO had these sets for sale a few years ago. You might try looking over some of their old ads for the original sale price, might give you a ballpark value for today.
