Hi All. I'm not sure if I should be here or not and I feel a little bit like a phony or an imposter . . . I am not a collector at all.
I simply have acquired an item that may be somewhat unique and wanted to get a bit of advice, or comment, opinion, etc.
It is kind of like a yearbook of the WWII Fleet Air Photographic Squadron One VD-1. Although it is dated 1945 and there's a short paragraph thanking some entities for the making of it, it doesn't appear to have a copyright on it and I believe it's an original.
When I type in the book on Google I get just a few links that take me to US Air official websites where I do find it listed as existing but the title is followed with a notation of "Private collection list. No known copy location."
I thought you guys might be the best ones to ask.

Hi there Amediville, I came across your post here via google. My uncle was in Fleet Air Photographic Squadron One and I also share a copy of that book. For the past few years I have been an active military antique collector and have seen that book only pop up once or twice. The approximate values I have seen it sell for are 75-100, but it is hard to tell. If you are interested in any other information I may be of service. Do you have any connections to VD-1? Feel free to email me at zepeleptic@gmail.com.
Thanks!
Eric

Your book
Amedville,
Do you still have the VD-1 book and are you interested in selling it?
