    New Mk V .303 !

I picked up this today. It's all matching although the bolt looks restruck, the type of cocking piece makes me think it may have been from the factory or in service. Any way the bolt finish is exactly the same as the rest of the rifle and the rifle headspaces correctly, and the trigger is good.
The barrel is original and looks very good, very clean and nice sharp lands, but the barrel will pass a .303 bore gauge, I'll bet it shoots well.
It's missing the front band and piling swivel which I'd like to find(anyone????), but otherwise, and anyway is a welcome addition to my shooting collection.

Looks great, mate. Definitely worth the coin!
An original front band is going to be difficult to find, but there are reproduction pieces being made.
Some of the guys here will have the contact info.

    Congrats!
