Newest additon to my collection 6.5 wra

Here is my new Carbine that I was going to pick up from Paul Imbragulio last month. It got put on hold a while when Paul had to go to Hospital. Well I got it today in the mail. It is a White Bag 100% WRA. It originally came with a Pot Belly Stock, but Paul had a Pristine low wood for it. Barrel ME is a 1, build date by serial number is March 17th, 1945, so some of the late features were installed. I added the push safety(came with JAO flip safety), because I happened to have an "EW". I'll tear it down later for some more detailed pics. What do you think Frank?

Rust, nice carbine! I was under the impression that some of the very late WRA's actually had JAO safeties original to them. I hope you did not throw that flip safety away! My very late Win has a JAO and everything else was original to the Trigger Group so I started asking around. Was told that the data sheets showed that abnomally. You are right, that stock looks great.

Ok, big decision - you going to shoot it or just look at it?

Ed, It did come with the JAO safety, but I have this thing for push safeties, and adjustable sights (I like them). and the JAO blued safety is put up for safe keeping. This stock is something else, and I'll get some more pics on here. Last night I just stared at it, you know what I mean, Carbine Syndrome. And will I shoot it-Hell yes I'll shoot it. I shoot everything I own, that's what they were made for, but it will be shot out of a pot belly stock when I go try it out.

That looks like a Win per WB page 315...

But it kinda looks like the stamp bounced when it was struck or someone struck it twice??

    David,
Not wanting to step on any toes.........
But that's not a real WRA stamp.
The White Bag is also in question.
